Textured Merbau Vintage Parquet Flooring
A distressed parquet floor in exotic auburn tones, the ideal platform for mid century or travel inspired interiors. Worn edges give it an instant years old feel and a rich surface texture adds a touch of rusticity and even more patina. Textured parquet flooring has timeless appeal and somehow looks like it has always been part of the architecture.
Merbau Textured Vintage Parquet is made from sustainably sourced Merbau, and features a tight, linear grain with occasional tiny yellow flecks. It can be fitted in herringbone or a number of other traditional patterns, and we can make border planks to match if required.
Merbau Textured Vintage Oak blocks are supplied semi finished and will need to to be topcoated after installation with our durable, Classic Hardwax Oil. They can also be ordered fully finished for a small supplement if preferred. With no need for sanding they are much easier and less expensive to fit than traditional parquet blocks.
