Oak Ballustrade
Our solid oak ballustrade includes spindles, carriage, bullnose, and handrails. Combined they will create a beautiful oak ballsutrate for stairs, landings or mezzanines, although each element is sold seperately so that you can choose just the ones you need.
We have 3 elegant oak handrail profiles to choose from, and a choice of simple square spindles in various sizes as well as more traditional turned ones. All oak ballustrade components can be ordered unfinished to be sealed in situ, or workshop finished to tone with most of our floors. If you finish in situ we recommend using one of our Broadleaf Hardwax Oil shades which are really easy to apply and available beautiful, natural shades.
To create oak ballustrade for stairs you will need oak stair carriage along with your chosen handrail to enclose the spindles. For landing or mezzanine ballustrate, you will need oak bullnose to edge the floor covering and then oak landing carriage. All handrails and carriage will need spacers to separate the spindles.
Carriage and bullnose can be made in any length to 4.2m and wider oak bullnose is also available if required.
