Sten Oak Parquet flooring is made in our Quintessential engineered format on Elegance Oak grade and is fully finished with our hard wearing, matt satin hardwax oil. It is available in 2 classic sizes suitable for herringbone and many other traditional designs.
Our Quintessential format is a beautifully machined engineered construction, made with premium hardwood ply and sustainably sourced European Oak.
Elegance grade Oak is carefully selected from some of Europe’s finest forest. Full of warm golden tones and smaller knots it has personality rather than rusticity and adapts easily to most styles of décor.
Format: Quintessential Engineered Oak Parquet | 4mm wear layer | premium hardwood ply construction Grade: Elegance Oak Sustainability: Oak sourced from responsibly managed, PEFC and FSC certified European Forests. Surface Texture: No Finish: Matt Satin VOC Free Hardwax Oil Underfloor Heating: All engineered options are suitable for use over UFH in line with our installation guidelines.
Our Parquet flooring must be glue fixed to a dry, level, load bearing subfloor with Broadleaf Ultra Adhesive or equivalent. We recommend adding a wastage allowance of 10-15% to the floor area to allow for offcuts at the edges of the floor. Sten Parquet flooring is finished with durable hardwax oil that is designed for modern living and need only a little regular TLC to keep it looking good. Wash with our Wood Floor Cleaner diluted in water and applied with a mop. Use our Wood Floor Wax to maintain its sheen and help repair day to day wear and tear. Click here for our aftercare guide and top tips on how to minimise maintenance.
