Solid Bibury Oak flooring is made on our characterful Cottage grade Oak. Sustainably sourced from some of Europe’s finest forests, it features rich natural colour variation, lively figuring and a mix of large and small knots to give it a gently rustic feel that is inviting and versatile. Boards are available in 3 widths which can be used alone or mixed to create a more traditional looking oak floor.

Well suited to comfortable family homes and relaxed interior styles, it is finished with our high performance, solvent free hardwax oil in a matt satin sheen and can be easily cared for using our Wood Floor Cleaner and Wood Floor Wax.

Underfloor Heating: Some widths of solid plank are suitable for use over UFH in line with our installation guidelines.

Our Solid Oak flooring can be glue or nail fixed depending on width and the subfloor to which it is being fitted. We recommend adding a wastage allowance of 5-10% to the floor area to allow for offcuts at the edges of the floor. For full fitting recommendations and guidance see our Installation Guide.

Our floors are finished with durable hardwax oil that is designed for modern living and need only a little regular TLC to keep them looking good. Bibury Oak floors should be washed using our Wood Floor Cleaner, diluted in water and applied with a mop. To maintain its sheen and help repair day-to-day wear and tear, use our Wood Floor Wax. Engineered Bibury Oak flooring is made on Cottage Oak and is fully finished with our hard wearing, matt satin hardwax oil. It is available on a choice of Strata or Quintessential engineered boards.

Strata boards are made from 3 layers of oak so have the coveted feel and resonance of a traditional oak board with the added stability of an engineered construction. These are available in a choice of 3 widths which can be used singly or mixed to create a more traditional looking floor.

Quintessential planks are made on our best-in-class ply backed engineered construction using premium hardwood ply and the same quality top layers as our Strata boards. They are available in a single width.

Cottage grade Oak features rich natural colour variation, lively figuring and a mix of large and small knots which are filled where necessary. It has a gently rustic feel that is inviting and versatile, well suited to comfortable family homes and relaxed interior styles.
