Textured wood flooring brings organic warmth to any room, and the rich sawn and brushed texture of our Old House wood flooring is particularly inviting. It was inspired by the saw marks left on floorboards by the rustic machinery of years ago, although  we now add saw marks intentionally,  as our modern precision machinery leaves a beautifully flat surface. We  also add texture along the length of the boards to soften the saw marks and remove the summer wood, creating a rich patina that otherwise takes years of wear.

Despite their authentic style, Old House Oak floors have a thoroughly modern feel and are the ideal way to add character to newer interiors or blend period architecture with modern decor. All shades come in solid & engineered boards in a choice of widths.

In days gone by, wood floors were made using rustic machinery that left saw marks across their surface. To create our Old House wood floors we painstakingly recreate these, then add patina with careful brushing along the grain of the timber. The result is rustic yet sophisticated and a delight to walk on.
