Country Charm

Country Charm

To create a beautiful country-style interior choose an oak floor that features character creating knots and colour variation set off with pretty textiles.

Don't be afraid of larger knots which will add rustic authenticity and are often the focus of some of the most attractive grain patterns in the timber - with out it is difficult to create a genuine country style floor.

As far as colour goes, for a classic golden oak tone choose a Nuances Natural Oak floor. For a more contemporary twist try the unfinished look of Nuances Nude and for a slightly lived in feel, Nuances Aged is just perfect.

These tones are also available as Broadleaf Hardwax Oil to be applied in situ, either to our Traditional or Classic oak floors, or to an existing floor.

Traditional Oak Plank Doors are the perfect way to complete the pretty country style interior, especially if accessorised with hand forged ironmongery.

Just a note to tell you how pleased we are with our new Cottage Oak floor, and with your excellent service and advice. As for most people, a new oak floor is an expensive project for us and we gave much thought to the alternative materials available on the market at present. So, we are pleased to report that we are absolutely delighted with our choice!
