Tips for Wood Floor Installation

Tips for Wood Floor Installation

To show off your wood floor and make your living space look as good as possible, the boards should be laid towards the primary natural source of light (e.g. a window), which is typically along the length of the room. If you are installing a new wood floor on top of an original one, you may first need to lay plywood over the original floor to make this possible. In an 'L' shaped room, consider laying boards at an angle.

Just a note to tell you how pleased we are with our new Cottage Oak floor, and with your excellent service and advice. As for most people, a new oak floor is an expensive project for us and we gave much thought to the alternative materials available on the market at present. So, we are pleased to report that we are absolutely delighted with our choice!
