Broadleaf - Beautiful Real Wood

Our beautiful solid oak stair treads and risers are a simple way to create impressive oak steps. Designed to be fitted to existing softwood, plywood or concrete steps they are made to measure to your dimensions from carefully selected French Oak in a choice of two thicknesses and supplied unfinished to be sealed in your preferred shade after fitting.

Both our oak stair treads and our oak risers are normally supplied with a locating tongue & groove to simplify installation but this can be omitted where required. Bottom risers and top treads should always be ordered without them, as should those for off square staircases which should also be ordered oversized to allow for trimming in situ. Classic Treads are made from a single piece of solid Oak. Thick treads are made from several jointed lengths of solid Oak.

If you need larger sizes than those below, please let us know as we can normally accommodate these without a problem.

For finishing we recommend our own Broadleaf Hardwax Oil which is easy to apply, quick drying and hardwearing. It is also available in a choice of pretty, natural Oak shades.
