Beautiful air dried oak beams have a myriad of uses both inside and out. From lintels, fireplaces, structural and dress beams to traditional timber screens, oak posts and porch structures, they can be used as part of a new building or for restoration work or oak frame repairs.

Broadleaf have one of the largest stocks of constructional quality Oak beams in the UK, so whatever your requirements we can probably match them. Sizes range from classic 5" × 5" to a majestic 14" × 14". Most of these are available in stock lengths up to 5m and we have several in exceptional longer lengths. Please bear in mind that air dried oak beams are sold based on their green oak size - the size that was measured when they were cut - so their actual size will be approx 5 - 10% less than their quoted measurement.

Green Oak beams are designed for use in structures that are to be morticed, tennoned, drawn and pegged such as green oak frames and green oak roofs. We source our green oak beams to order from the finest French sawmills and they are available in sizes to 300mm x 300mm x 6500mm and can be ordered to be cut to list.
