Broadleaf Brushed & Limed Oak is perfect for those wishing to inspire a scandinavian or maritime feel to a room or who are looking for a light enhancing floor. It is fully pre-finished so that you can fit the floor and walk on it the same day with no sanding or finishing required in situ.

Brushing on the top face removes the soft wood between the annual rings to create a texture which is both aesthetic and tactile.

The application of liming paste then highlights the grain of the timber and creates a striking contract across the floor.

Finally 2 coats of Hardwax Oil are applied to seal the liming wax and to give the floor a tactile, locally repairable and durable finish.

Traditional solid boards are available in a choice of 105 & 150mm boards and can be prepared for use over under-floor heating. Brushed & Limed Oak is also now available in Strata, Broadleaf's unique 100% Oak engineered board, in 150mm & 200mm both of which can be floated and used over under-floor heating.
