Broadleaf Brushed Oak boards create a slightly aged looking floor with a rich texture and soft patina.

Although the natural hue of the boards is unchanged by the brushing process the grain and figure are accentuated and the depth of colour enhanced by the play of light on the textured surface.

Brushed Oak is made from Elegance grade timber and so is fairly colour consistent with smaller knots and creates a sophisticated, adaptable floor.

It is available in both a Traditional solid board or Strata, our 100% Oak engineered board, in 2 compatible widths.

In terms of finishing, this is one of the few occasions when creating an authentic effect is less work rather than more. Brushed boards obviously do not require sanding and are ideally suited to an easy to apply, traditional Hardwax Oil finish.
