Broadleaf Barn
Oak is full of character and will create a stunning rustic floor with a truly traditional feel. Boards
contain plenty of large knots & splits, sapwood, tiny wormholes, some machining faults and
colour variation.
Barn Oak is available
in 150mm & 200mm boards, tongue & grooved all round and in lengths 1000mm - 2000mm. It will need to be filled and sanded before sealing.
Although we do not re-kiln Barn Oak for use over under-floor heating, it can be used in this situation if it is loose laid for 6-8 weeks first and if gapping and cupping in olde worlde style is acceptable.
