Skirting Board hides the expansion gap between the floor
and the wall. Broadleaf solid oak skirting comes in 125mm
and 170mm and two profiles - Chamfer and Ogee. Maximum
length is 2.5m, so running mitres may be required along some walls. Oak skirting should always be fixed using screws and plugs.

Scotia or Quadrant beading is used to hide the expansion gap between a new wooden floor and an existing skirting board.

Cork Strip neatly fills the expansion gap against stone walls, fireplaces, or other areas where it is not possible to fit skirting or beading. It can also be used at the doorway between two rooms with wood flooring as a threshold or instead of beading with existing skirtings. It is available 20mm or 14mm deep in 1m lengths. |

Pipe Ferrels neatly cover holes cut around radiator or other small diameter heating or water pipes. Snap in line with the grain, glue the reverse and then slot back together around the pipe for an invisible joint. |

Thresholds & T Bars neatly join floor coverings at doorways between rooms. Broadleaf stock standard dimension items in both Oak & Maple for single and double doorways. T-bars should be used where minimal height difference exists. Thresholds will accomodate up to 5mm variance. Made to measure thresholds are available in various timbers where height differences are more substantial. |
