Available in 6", 12" or 18", these pairs of quality, traditional Tee hinges are designed for use with plank doosr. Use 18" hinge for a full size door and smaller hinges accordingly. The fixing plate will need to be cut into any architrave. Strap hinges (shorter with a more extreme taper) are also available in 15" and 9".

Available in 5" (125mm) or 7" (175mm) these beautiful 'H' hinges are suitable for most non-plank doors (except full size solid oak doors due to their weight) and can also be used to fix cupboards, opening window seats or blanket boxes. The Cottage Latch offers a more robust option for the classic plank door. Like the Suffolk latches it is fixed through the door and can accommodate doors up to 42mm thick. Unlike the Suffolk latches it has a sprung arm and thus requires a little more strength to open. It is typically fixed approximately half way up the door with the second handle on the 'flower' backplate on the rear to catch the turning bar. |
