Skirting Board hides the expansion gap between the floor and the wall.
Broadleaf solid oak skirting is dual profiles, offering a choice of Chamfer (for a simpler or more contemporary feel) or Ogee (a more elegant or traditional style).
Maximum length is normally 2.4 - 2.6m, so running mitres may be required along some walls. Both profiles are available in 125mm, 170mm and 210mm.
Oak skirting should always be fixed using screws and plugs. It may have some knots that wil require filling before sanding and finishing.
